Welcome to The Children's House!

The Children's House Montessori School (TCHM) is a member of the American Montessori Academy (AMS) and is governed by the Day Nurseries Act of the Ministry of Community and Social Services in Ontario. TCHM was founded by Miss Julie Di Ponio in 2001. Miss Di Ponio has a B.A. Honours from the University of Windsor and a post graduate degree in Montessori Education from the MMTEC at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, Mi. Miss Di Ponio also holds her "certificate of bi-lingualism" from her studies at the University of Nice in France. Recently, she has also had the opportunity to work in Rome, Italy. She is excited to offer your child a culturally diverse and enriched Montessori environment.
